Spelling Bee
FEBRUARY 5, 2012 | 1 PM
Children are challenged to use their spelling skills in a competitive environment while learning about George Washington and Abraham Lincoln. Spelling Bee words will be derived from titles of works of art, exhibition text, and identification labels in the First in the Hearts of His Countrymen: George Washington and Albany and the Civil War: Medicine on the Home and Battlefronts exhibitions, now available in the Albany Institute's galleries.
Registration is open to all children ages 8 to 14. Participants must enroll on or before 5 PM on February 1. To register send an e-mail with student's name, parent/guardian name, address, age of student, and phone number to collinsb@albanyinstitute.org.
