On Thursday, February 17, 2011, the Albany Institute and the University Club presented a lunch and lecture titled "Snow Scenes," featuring the works of Albany's Walter Launt Palmer. Host and guide for the lecture was the Albany Institute's Deputy Director for Collections and Exhibitions, Tammis Groft. The lecture included a history of Palmer's work and a guided tour of his paintings on view at the University Club, in the galleries of the Institute, and in the museum's storage areas.
