Civil War
(grades 8-12)
Using primary sources, images and objects from the Albany Institute's
collection, students will be introduced to a major conflict in American
History, the Civil War. This lesson focuses on how the Civil War
affected daily life in America, including the art, material culture and
political atmosphere of our country.
