Muhhekunnetuk Festival
Sunday, March 21

1:00–4:00 pm; 2:00 pm performance
Muhhekunnetuk is the Native American name for the Hudson, and it means “river that flows both ways.” Celebrate the great river with art-making activities from 1:00 to 4:00. Participants of all ages will create their own Native American-inspired felt bags in the art studio. The festival will also include a performance by Gunstwork Puppet Mask Theater of a play entitled Four Wishes. Four Wishes offers life lessons about the universal theme of human desire and features exquisite puppets, expressive masks, and original choreography. Also, explore the current exhibit, Hudson River Panorama: 400 Years of History, Art, & Culture, using the Hudson River Panorama Discovery Guide.
