Submission Guidelines
1. The Albany Institute is looking
for photographic images that represent the Hudson River today. Images
can include people, communities, buildings, industrial sites, sports and
leisure activities, natural scenery, historic sites, river traffic, or
anything else that reflects life, activities, and the natural
environment of the river.
2. Images must have been photographed between 2005 and 2010.
3. Images CANNOT BE RETURNED. Images will be affixed to a map in the
exhibition, Hudson River Panorama: 400 Years of History, Art, and
Culture. Once on the map, image placement is permanent. In the event
that it is required for photographs to overlap, care will be taken to
show as much of the image as possible.
4. Images may be of any shape, but dimensions MUST NOT exceed 5 x 7
inches.
5. Please provide your NAME, LOCATION of image depicted, DATE of image,
and COMMENTS (or story) about the image on a separate sheet of paper.
Please attach this sheet to the BACK SIDE of your photograph with tape
or a paper clip. (DO NOT USE glue or staples.)
6. Images can be mailed or delivered to:

Albany, New York 12210 Images stored on CDs, DVDs, or any other
electronic storage device WILL NOT be accepted.
7. Submissions limited to 5 per person. |

The Albany Institute of
History & Art reserves the right to select, use, or reject submitted
photographs at their sole discretion, and reserves the right to
reproduce said images in any and all media. |
