Inaugural Marjorie Doyle Rockwell Memorial Lecture: ‘One Bowl More and Then': Punch Drinking in Colonial America by Donald Friary, Director Emeritus and Senior Research Fellow at Historic Deerfield, Inc Dr. Friary will tell the story about the exotic drink that entered English colonial life in the 17th century using illustrations of punch bowls and descriptions of punch drinking in travel journals, diaries and letters.
