Composer Daron Hagen explains the inspiration for his work before Maestro David Alan Miller leads a chamber orchestra, composed of Albany Symphony Orchestra members  in this world premier performance from the "Capital Heritage Commissions."

 


 

With the $17.8 million renovation and expansion project now completed, new program spaces including the Key Cultural Center and the Museum Explorers Gallery and Studio are available as locations for programs and events for children and adults; lecture series; family programs; teachers' workshops; art and history education classes; lectures; films and gallery talks. 

 

The Albany Institute of History & Art provides a range of educational and programming experiences for approximately 20,000 children and adults annually.
