Storytelling for all ages in our galleries at 1:00, 2:00, and 3:00 pm each day, with related drop-in art-making activities in the studio from 1:00-4:00pm.

 

Exhibitions
Free admission to the museum throughout the weekend also entitles visitors to view all of our current exhibitions, including The Perfect Fit: Shoes Tell Stories and Old Soles: Three Centuries of Shoes from the Albany Institute of History & Art's Collection; as well as Hudson River Panorama: 400 Years of History, Art, and Culture (which will be closing on January 2, 2011) and Ancient Egypt.

 

Gift Fair
 Bring your holiday shopping list to the Albany Institute Gift Fair.  The work of more than 50 vendors will be on display throughout the museum, showcasing beautiful and distinctive gifts by local jewelers, craftspeople, and artists.  The general public will be able to shop at the Gift Fair from 10:00am to 5:00pm throughout Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Food will be offered on the 3rd Floor from The Tailored Tea!

Please bring cash or checks, as not all vendors will be able to accept credit cards.


Don't forget your Membership Card!  Many of the vendors will be offering a 10% discount to members.
