Development Office Volunteer


Development

The Development office is responsible for raising annual operating funds by cultivating prospects and donors and developing sustainable relationships with individuals, businesses, government agencies and other organizations.  Computer skills, especially in Microsoft Office, are desirable.

·                               

·         Administrative support

Administrative volunteers perform clerical work, including filing, mailings, stuffing envelopes, correspondence, creating flyers, data entry (Excel and Raiser’s Edge), and telephone follow-up.

Time commitment: Flexible hours, Monday-Friday; ideally once a week.

·         Prospect research

These volunteers assist in researching new donor prospects both at the individual and corporate level.

Time commitment: Flexible hours, Monday-Friday; ideally once a week.
