Education Administration Intern


Supervisor: Erika Sanger, Director of Education

Summary of Position:

The Education Administration Intern’s primary responsibility is to assist with day to day administrative activities, lesson plan development, research, special projects and database management.

Job Duties (these vary depending on current projects, but generally include):

  • Assembling resource kits and pre-visit materials for school programs
  • Assisting with organization and maintenance of the department's studio and children's gallery spaces
  • Assisting with the collation and the report of evaluation and other research data
  • Assisting with department record keeping, including files, computer databases, etc.
  • Assisting with special programs and events as needed
  • Other projects as needed

Requirements:

Undergraduates, graduate students, or recent graduates, with a major or coursework in education, museum education, history, art history, museum studies or studio art, are welcome to apply.

Position availability:

Fall, Winter, and Spring

Hours:

A minimum of 10 hours per week with flexible scheduling
