Manuscripts Inventory Intern
Supervisor: Rebecca Rich-Wulfmeyer, Chief Librarian & Archivist
Summary of Position:
This position is responsible for inventorying the Library’s collections of local business records and family papers. It will involve examining each collection and recording basic information such as title, number, and size, plus information regarding levels of processing and intellectual access.
Requirements:
Prefer upper-level undergraduate or graduate student interested in a career in archives, special libraries, public history, etc. Previous experience working in an archive a plus. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Position availability:
Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer
Hours:
A minimum of 8 hours per week with flexible scheduling between the hours of Monday - Friday 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
