Membership Volunteer


Membership

The membership office manages all aspects of the museum’s membership and publications program, including record keeping, renewal notices, and other tasks.  Membership volunteers assist with clerical tasks, including stuffing envelopes for mailings and membership promotion.  Previous clerical experience is helpful.

  • Administrative support

Administrative support includes filing, data entry (Excel and Raiser’s Edge), and telephone follow-up.

Time commitment: Flexible hours, Monday-Friday, around the 15th of each month for

  • Membership promotion

Membership promotion volunteers are responsible for monitoring the membership table during operating hours on the weekend.  Duties include fielding general museum related questions and membership related questions, distributing membership literature, and signing up new members.

Time commitment:  Saturdays and/or Sundays from 1-4 pm, can sign up for specific days during the month.
