Public Relations and Marketing

The public relations office is responsible for promoting the Albany Institute’s exhibitions, programs and special events to potential visitors through publicity, advertising, printed pieces and the website.  Press releases, advisories and follow-up phone calls are done at regular intervals and for specific events to ensure AIHA’s consistent presence in local media.  Increasing outreach (geographic and demographic) and messaging AIHA as a resource are among our major goals.

  • Administrative support

Administrative support includes record-keeping, photocopying, mailings, telephone follow-up, filing and copywriting.  Computer knowledge and strong phone skills necessary.

Time commitment:  Flexible hours, Monday-Friday, especially during the last week of the month.

  • Community relations and outreach

Duties include follow-up phone calls and research to expand AIHA’s presence in the community.

Time commitment:  Flexible hours, Monday-Friday.
