By presenting new scholarship, highlighting issues and themes of contemporary interest and working collaboratively with our diverse community to develop programs, such as the City Neighbors Project, Albany Institute is a Museum of the 21st Century, inside and out. 

Capitalizing on the new environmentally controlled facility, Albany Institute will host a number of significant traveling exhibitions, have greater access to our collections through the state-of-the-art storage facility.
