On March 14, 2006, more than 60 business and
community leaders attended the Hudson River: Symbol of America,
Past, Present...Future, Corporate
Breakfast at the Albany Institute of History & Art.
Over 60 people representing
40 different companies and organizations attended,
including law firms, financial institutions, developers, traditional
and new media, tourism, hospitality, and more. There was also a
strong mix of past supporters and new faces. Mike Klein, Executive
Director of the Albany Parking Authority, our event sponsor, was
knowledgeable and engaging during his presentation on the APA's
connection to downtown development and marketing. Doug McCombs,
AIHA Curator of History, conducted a fascinating and well received
preview of the Hudson 400.
AIHA’s corporate breakfasts offer business and
community leaders an opportunity to learn more about the museum in a
networking-friendly and relaxed atmosphere. The breakfasts also
provide the museum a highly visible way to recognize corporate
partners for their support.
