1. Determine the appropriate level of annual support you will contribute each year for the next three years.

 

2. Increase your involvement in the Albany Institute by allocating your gift among the categories that most interest you including membership, annual fund, Adopt an Object, or underwriting a special project (exhibition, education program or public program).

 

3. Simplify the payment process through quarterly or monthly installments.

Corporate Matching Gifts

Every time you make a gift to the Albany Institute, your employer may match it.  For example, if you give $100 to the Albany Institute, your employer may contribute a gift ranging from 50%  ($50) to 400% ($400) of your gift.

Your Human Resources department will have information on your employer's matching gift policy including percentage of match and eligibility of gifts from current employees, retirees and spouses.

ADOPT AN OBJECT

Through this unique program, once you have selected a personal favorite of the regional masterpieces on view in AIHA's permanent collection galleries, your name (or designee) will appear adjacent to that work of art for one year. 

 

Your contribution, ranging from $250-$2,500, helps to support the ongoing care and management of the museum’s holdings including research- and conservation-related activities.

In-kind donations are goods and services provided at reduced or no cost to the museum in lieu of a monetary gift.  These donations support a variety of programs, events and projects.

GIFTS OF STOCK

Giving a gift of stock is a simple and quick way of putting your assets to work for the museum.  The most common method of donating stock is through an electronic funds transfer.

To obtain the proper information to make such a transfer you or your broker should call the Business Office at 518-463-4478 or via email.

Honor any occasion with a memorial or tribute gift in recognition of that special someone with a love of history & art or with nostalgic ties to the Albany Institute.  Your contribution will be acknowledged on donor lists at the Institute and to the honoree or their family.
