26th Annual Antiquarian Book and Ephemera Fair to Benefit AIHA
The Antiquarian Book and Ephemera Fair showcases the finest in rare and out-of-print books. Among the 50+ dealers, collectors can find rare books, prints, autographs, maps, manuscripts, first editions and fine bindings. Booths also feature children’s books miniature books, vintage photographs, valentines, trade cards, political material, posters, broadsides, postcards and more.
Verbal appraisals on books and papers (photographs, manuscripts, autographs, rare volumes, etc.) from John DeMarco of Lyrical Ballad Bookstore in Saratoga and Dennis Holzman of Albany will be available from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm with a cost of $2 per item.
The 26th Antiquarian Book and Ephemera Fair is a fund-raiser for the Albany Institute Library. The Library is one of the area’s most outstanding resources for information regarding, history, art and culture of the Upper Hudson Valley Region. A non-circulating library, the collection consists of over 1,000,000 items including books, periodicals, maps, photographs, manuscripts and ephemera.
The 26th Antiquarian Book and Ephemera Fair will begin on Saturday, November 11 with an early buying preview at 8:30am and continue through 10:00am with a cost of $10. The fair will continue through 4:00pm. General admission is $4, $3.50 with ad. The book fair is managed by Oliver and Gannon Associates of Altamont, NY.
