On Friday, April 3, New York State Governor David
Paterson chose the Albany Institute of History & Art to announce the
receipt of a historic $432 million grant (the largest ever given to a
state) from the Environmental Protection Agency for rebuilding the
state's water management systems. The governor was joined by EPA
Administrator Lisa Jackson in announcing the grant, as well as numerous
local and state leaders.
