Because most civilizations were born beside bodies of water, boats have been one of mankind’s most useful forms of transportation. Using a variety of materials and wood pieces, participants will construct their own miniature boats based on examples of bygone and current vessels. Weather permitting, we will float our boats in a local park to see how they fare. Registration is required.
