matter on an atomic and molecular scale—promises to alter the future of
every field from manufacturing to medicine, in ways we can only begin to
comprehend. In layman’s language, Vincent LaBella, associate professor
at the University at Albany’s College of Nanoscale Science and
Engineering, offers an insightful introduction to this emerging and
revolutionary science, covering not only the key concepts that make
nanotechnology exciting, but also looking at how it impacts our everyday
lives, and what it holds for tomorrow.
