The year 2009 represents an
extraordinary opportunity to receive a once in a lifetime badge
celebrating 400 years of Henry Hudson’s exploration and discovery.
Participating Junior Girl Scouts and Brownies will receive a highlighted
tour of our newest exhibition Hudson River Panorama: 400 Years of
History, Art, and Culture. In our studio, girls will experience a
broad range of hands-on art-making activities and games relating to the
Hudson River. All participants will receive a commemorative badge
celebrating the Quadricentennial, a certificate of art appreciation from
the Albany Institute of History & Art, and a free family pass to the
Albany Institute.

Enjoy a docent-lead tour of the Albany Institute’s current exhibits,
including Hudson River Panorama: 400 Years of History, Art, and
Culture. Gallery talks are held Saturdays at 2:00 pm and Sundays at
3:00 pm. Free with museum admission. Schedule is subject to change.
