HOLIDAY GIFT FAIR
Bring
your holiday shopping list to the Albany Institute of History & Art’s
two-day Holiday Gift Fair. Vendor presentations throughout the museum
will showcase beautiful and distinctive gifts by local jewelers,
craftspeople, and artists.
Special Members-Only Preview Hours will be held for Albany Institute
members on Friday, December, 4, from 3:00 to 5:00 pm and on
Saturday, December 5, from 10:00 to 11:00 am. Members will be able
to view merchandise before it’s made available to the general public,
and will receive an additional 5 percent discount during the preview
hours, in addition to the 10 percent members already receive on all
museum purchases.
The general public will be able to shop at the Gift Fair from 5:00 to
9:00 pm on Friday, December 4, and from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm on
Saturday, December 5.

Homeschool Program
1:30–4:30 pm
Japanese Fans
Create a Japanese-inspired fan by staining paper and adding
decorative nature motifs. Fee: $15 for non-members, $10 for members,
includes museum admission and art materials. Registration is required
and payment is due at the time of registration. ASL interpretation is offered for this program. Age
requirement is 8 years and older. Registration required.
