Albany Institute
of History & Art’s 2009 Museum Gala on Friday, June 12 from 6:30 to
10:30 pm. This year’s Museum Gala honoring Commissioner John C. Egan,
artist Len Tantillo, and philanthropists Spencer and Patricia Standish,
will be held at the Albany Institute of History & Art, 125 Washington
Avenue. In addition to an opportunity to support one of our region’s
most venerable institutions, this year’s gala attendees will embark upon
a journey through four centuries of Hudson Valley culture, as we
continue our yearlong celebration of Hudson River Panorama: 400 Years
of History, Art, and Culture. Guests will delight in the cuisine and
entertainment of centuries past and present in a variety of distinctive
settings. The evening’s specially crafted menu will feature elegant
gourmet stations, champagne, and fine wine.
