Struggle for the Vote: New York Women
(grades 9-12)

Focusing on Susan B. Anthony, Elizabeth Cady Stanton, Lucy Burns and the life of Albany artist and activist, Alice Morgan Wright, students will explore the difficult path women forged to earn the right to vote. Objects, images, and documents for the Albany Institute’s collection will illuminate this story of struggle and persistence.
