Intergenerational programs for children ages 6
12 and accompanying adults.  These programs include gallery activities and art-making. The programs begin in the galleries and are followed by an art-making activity in the studio. Programs are held on Saturday afternoons from 2:304:30 pm and are FREE with museum admission.

September 20
Pastel and Light
Learn about the technique of Impressionism and view Impressionist Giverny: American Painters in France, 1885-1915. In the studio, use pastels to further develop color, style, and technique by composing an outdoor scene from different light perspectives.

October 18
Garden Mosaic
A mixed-media celebration; use found and recycled materials to create a garden-inspired mosaic.

November 8
Drawing and Color:
Combine drawing from direct observation and your imagination to create compelling harmonious works in color pencil.

December 6
FUNdamentals of Painting
Learn the fundamentals of Impressionism painting by working with quick sketches and paintbrush techniques to create colorful painted landscapes.
