Quadricentennial Badge
The year 2009 represents an extraordinary opportunity to receive a
once-in-a-lifetime badge celebrating 400 years of Henry Hudson's
exploration of the river that bears his name. Fee: $24, includes museum
admission, materials, and badge. Two free chaperones per troop; adult
admission fee of $10 each for extra chaperones.

Art in 3D Badge
Working within a museum setting, Junior Girl Scouts will learn the
many ways artists work and are inspired. Participants will receive a
highlighted tour of our current exhibition, Hudson River Panorama: 400
Years of History, Art, and Culture, as well as the museum's permanent
collection. Girl Scouts will learn the basic skills and techniques of
three-dimensional design through a series of hands-on activities in our
studio. All participants will receive an Art in 3D Badge, a certificate
of art appreciation from the Albany Institute of History & Art, and a
free family pass to the museum. Fee: $18, includes museum admission, materials fee, and badge. Chaperones:
