Fee is $18 and includes museum admission, materials fee, and badge. Chaperones: Two chaperones per troop admitted free; adult admission fee of $8 for each extra chaperone.

GIRL SCOUT BADGE PROGRAM

Quadricentennial Badge

The year 2009 represents an extraordinary opportunity to receive a once-in-a-lifetime badge celebrating 400 years of Henry Hudson's exploration of the river that bears his name. Fee: $24, includes museum admission, materials, and badge. Two free chaperones per troop; adult admission fee of $10 each for extra chaperones. Registration is required. Art in 3D Badge
Working within a museum setting, Junior Girl Scouts will learn the many ways artists work and are inspired. Participants will receive a highlighted tour of our current exhibition, Hudson River Panorama: 400 Years of History, Art, and Culture, as well as the museum's permanent collection. Girl Scouts will learn the basic skills and techniques of three-dimensional design through a series of hands-on activities in our studio. All participants will receive an Art in 3D Badge, a certificate of art appreciation from the Albany Institute of History & Art, and a free family pass to the museum. Fee: $18, includes museum admission, materials fee, and badge. Chaperones: Two chaperones per troop admitted free; adult admission fee of $8 for each extra chaperone.

Special instructions: Please wear clothes that you can get messy in. Light refreshments will be provided. Free parking is available in the back lot of the museum and there is plenty of on-street parking nearby. Members receive a $2 discount.
