BADGE PROGRAMS
Hudson 400
Quadricentennial Badge
The year 2009 provided an extraordinary opportunity to receive a once in
a lifetime badge celebrating 400 years of Henry Hudsons exploration and
discovery, and that badge will still be available in 2010.
Junior Girl Scouts and Brownies participating in the Albany Institute of
History & Art Hudson 400 Badge will receive a highlighted tour of our
current exhibition
Hudson River Panorama: 400 Years of History, Art &
Culture. In our studio girls will be exposed to a broad range
of hands-on art making activities and games relating to the Hudson
River. All participants will receive a commemorative badge celebrating
the Quadricentennial, a certificate of art appreciation from the Albany
Institute of History & Art, and a free family pass to the Albany
Institute.

Art to Wear
Junior Girl Scouts and Brownies will receive a highlighted tour of
our Hudson River Panorama exhibition, as well as our Ancient Egypt
gallery. Objects from the exhibits will inspire girls in the studio as
they complete a range of activities in creating artworks to wear. All
participants will receive a certificate of art appreciation from the
Albany Institute of History & Art and free family pass to the Albany
Institute of History & Art.
