The Albany Institute of History & Art has an array of spaces available to accommodate parties, meetings, seminars, performances, luncheons, dinners, breakfasts, and virtually any type of event you are planning. The Institute's distinctive and diverse architecture and interior design provide for both intimate get-togethers and large gatherings in a variety of historic and modern styles. These spaces include:
The Atrium: Our
three-story, 2,250 sq. ft. atrium is the centerpiece of our facility,
and offers an elegant, contemporary
setting for receptions. Linking the museum's historic buildings,
this spectacular glass enclosure is an architectural beacon on
Washington Avenue and reflects the renaissance of downtown Albany.
The Key Cultural Center:
The 1,600 sq. ft. Key Cultural Center is one of the Capital
District's most technologically advanced meeting rooms. Located on
a private floor of the museum, this multi-functional space offers
amenities including a drop-down projection screen, high-speed Internet
access, built-in public address system, and variable lighting controls.
