The Albany Institute's exhibition philosophy includes a wide range of subject matter that will enhance our programming capacity and appeal to the interests of our audiences.

By presenting new scholarship, highlighting issues and themes of contemporary interest and working collaboratively with our diverse community to develop programs, such as the City Neighbors Project, the Albany Institute is a Museum of the 21st Century, inside and out.

Capitalizing on the new environmentally controlled facility, Albany Institute will host a number of significant traveling exhibitions, have greater access to our collections through the state-of-the-art storage facility.
