Art Kits contain a special project that can be done on your own schedule. Each featured project relates to the museum's collections or exhibitions and contains materials, and instructions to complete at home on your own time line. Kits may be purchased online and picked up at the museum during regular admission hours.
If you are planning a larger registration for a group it is advised that you first contact our Director of Art Programs, Sarah Clowe at clowes@albanyinstitute.org so that we may appropriately prepare and accomodate your order.

About the Kit: The Albany Institute's first Art Kit is a fun quilling project inspired by a lovely quilled tea caddy in the museum’s collection. Quilling involves using paper strips to create decorative designs. The Quilling Art Kit includes detailed instructions, a craft box to decorate, paper quilling strips, simple quilling tools, and glue. A link to a short video introducing the quilled tea caddy in the museum’s collection is also included and will be found in your confirmation message.

Pick Up: Kits can be picked up at the museum during open admission hours. Museum hours are Wednesday- Saturday from 10:00-5:00, and Sundays from 12:00-5:00.
