This sheet appears to have been removed from a bound sketchook. The verso side (identified here as the front side because of the artist's signature and location inscription) despicts a small rowboat anchored to the shore. The recto side (identified here as the back) depicts the stern end of a larger boat identified by the name S. W. Arnett. Hart has written color notes on the side of the boat.
