Comments:
According to Egyptian mythology, Osiris, the first king of Egypt, was murdered by his brother Seth. Osiris's wife and sister, Isis, and her sister Nepthys, reassembled his body, which Anubis mummified. Osiris was spiritually reborn and became ruler of the underworld. He can be recognized by his bandage-wrapped body, tall crown with ostrich feathers, and crook and flail.
