Sprouting Spring | Ancient Egypt Themed Vacation Break Family Day

Join us to celebrate both Ancient Egyptian symbols and culture represented in the Ancient Egypt exhibition and Earth Day with fun spring art projects.  To celebrate the regrowth of spring, as well as Ancient Egyptian beliefs of rebirth and renewal we'll create our own models of a Grain Osiris that can be sprouted to grow wildflowers.

12:00-3:00

  • "Grain Osiris" Models (that grow flowers!)
  • Paper Animal Mummy Models
  • Stencil Ancient Egyptian Symbols in Chalk
