Celebrate the 108th anniversary of the arrival of the Albany Institute's mummies!
Children are invited to bring a small doll or stuffed animal to learn about the mummification process by mummifying their toy. Please note the plaster gauze mummification craft is permanent so bring a toy you would not mind being permanently mummified.
- Doll "mummification" from 12-4:30PM
- Face Painting by artist Tina Rodriguez from 12:00-3PM
- Ancient Egyptian themed creative movement with the Ellen Sinopoli Dance Company at 1PM
- Ancient Egyptian Tales with storyteller Nancy Payne at 3PM
