Schuyler Sisters and the Age of Revolution
Ages 6 -14
Registration is at full capacity
Join us for a special program just for homeschoolers, and explore the revolutionary time period through the Schuyler Sisters and Their Circle exhibition. The Schuyler family was a notable Dutch family who resided in the local Capital Region. The family and the 3 eldest sisters have been in the spotlight lately due to the popularity of Hamilton: An American Musical which features the Schuyler sisters and their connection to Alexander Hamilton. In this program, we’ll discover history in the galleries, and create hands on art inspired by the time period to take home. This program is offered for children 6 to 14. Students will be placed into two groups based on age.
- Registration is at full capacity.
Participation in the event assumes consent for photographs to be used for museum purposes unless participants otherwise notify the Albany Institute of History & Art.
