English Country Dance was featured at balls and social gatherings during the Schuyler sisters time. Put on your dancing shoes and come try out this popular form of entertainment from that time period.
Attendees will watch demonstrations to learn the basic steps of several dance variations and then be invited to participate in their own dance sessions. In between dances, insights into the history of the different dance styles will be provided. Musicians playing period music will accompany the dancers.
