Victoria Johnson is the author of three books, including the Pulitzer Prize and National Book Award finalist American Eden: David Hosack, Botany, and Medicine in the Garden of the Early Republic. An esteemed speaker, her book tour for American Eden took her to more than 150 venues in the United States. Johnson is a professor of urban policy and planning at Hunter College (CUNY) and holds a doctorate in sociology from Columbia University and an undergraduate degree in philosophy from Yale.
