VIRTUAL PROGRAM | Garden Portraits: Magnificent Private Gardens of the Hudson Valley

Join acclaimed photographer Larry Lederman for a virtual tour of the two public gardens and the fourteen private gardens depicted in his newest book Garden Portraits: Experiences of Natural Beauty. All of the gardens featured in the talk are located in the Hudson Valley, Long Island and Connecticut, and many are never before seen properties that were designed for (and sometimes by) artists, socialites, celebrities, and entrepreneurs as personal retreats.  Published by The Monacelli Press, Garden Portraits is Lederman's sixth work of botanical photography.  His other books include Frederic Church's Olana on the Hudson, The Rockefeller Family Gardens, and Magnificient Trees of the New York Botanical Garden.
