LENSES Exhibition

January 14th - February 17th, 2023

The Albany Institute of History and Art presents Lenses, a photography exhibition created by seven local students participating in the AIHA and Youth FX Education Photography Partnership: My Camera is a Weapon.

We are proud to present the student artists: Audrey Finck, Zyaire J. Gaddy, Jazlyn Gorousingh, Lyndsey Heyliger, Noah Hotaling, Jace Privott, and Olivia Rose.

"Guided by the training of Youth FX and the work of acclaimed photojournalist Gordon Parks, seven local students set out to document the world. Through their lenses, they captured a changing environment, depictions of Black women in the mass media and culture, and the contours of an urban landscape and universe that was distinctly theirs."
