Night Shift - With Your Friends, The Jiffy and Diane Shewchuk
Join the Albany Institute and The Jiffy at the museum after hours for Night Shift, a special evening inspired by the exhibition Your Friend, Frederic E. Church. Hosted by James Cave of The Jiffy newsletter and podcast, the program will explore the remarkable friendship between Hudson River School painter Frederic E. Church and Albany sculptor Erastus Dow Palmer.
The evening begins with libations and refreshments, followed by a conversation with exhibition curator Diane Shewchuk about the letters, artworks, and archival materials that reveal the close relationship between Church, Palmer, and their families.
Following the conversation, guests are invited to continue the discussion in the galleries with Diane and James while experiencing the museum after hours.
Tickets include the program, museum admission, and all food and drinks.
