BOOK TALK | Treasure in the Trunk Storytime with Author/Illustrator, Linda MacRitchie Graf

Join us for a special story time with Linda MacRitchie Graf, author and illustrator of the children’s book, Treasure in the Trunk. Graf will guide children and their caregivers through the wordless book, encouraging the audience to use their imagination and clues hidden in the illustrations! Following the reading, there will be a short craft activity with materials provided.  

This program is geared toward children ages two through ten and their caregivers. 

 

About the Book, Treasure in the Trunk:

Stuck inside on a rainy day, two siblings and their beloved Boston Terrier learn about the wonders of exploration as they journey upstairs into a gloomy attic. Follow this intrepid trio as they discover an old trunk, and the remarkable treasure hidden inside.  Enjoy an interactive storytelling experience that is perfect for the very young, as well as multilingual families and classrooms. 

 

About the Author and Illustrator, Linda MacRitchie Graf:

Linda MacRitchie Graf has been an award-winning art teacher in NYS public schools for 30 plus years. She lives in upstate NYS with her husband and enjoys her young grandsons very much! Linda is the author/illustrator of Treasure in the Trunk, a wordless picture book. She enjoys working in many kinds of media including fibers, watercolor, acrylics, graphite, and pastel.
