President's Day: Free Day at the Museum!

Join us at the Albany Institute of History & Art on Monday, February 19 for a full day of free entry and fun activities. Free entry to the museum is sponsored by the M&T Charitable Foundation!

Art Studio | Art For All: Make Your Own Presidential Currency

    10:00 am – 4:00 pm. Enrich your museum visit, enjoy creative family time, and just have fun at this drop-in art-making program for all ages. This month’s program is inspired by the current exhibition, The Time Capsule, with a President's Day twist.

Atrium | Live Music at Lunch

    12:00 – 1:30 pm. In celebration of Black History Month, musician Marty McDermott, an acoustic and electric guitar soloist and singer, will perform a tribute to early Black Rock & Roll royalty. The music of Otis Redding, Sam Cooke, Stevie Wonder, Chuck Berry, and more.

The live music performance is sponsored by the Albany Musician's Association.

Atrium | Membership Information Hour

    12:00 – 1:00 pm. Our Development team will be ready to answer all questions on the benefits of membership at the Albany Institute!
