Fundraising Events

The Albany Institute of History & Art is supported in part by the generosity of museum members and donors. Throughout the year, the Albany Institute hosts fundraising events including our Museum Gala, For the Museum, At the Museum, is held annually in June. Our signature Work of Art is held in November. Past Events

5:30pm–7:00pm Join author Katherine Aalto and the Fort Orange Garden Club for a reception with light refreshments and a special lecture. Registration required.

6:00pm–7:00pm In partnership with three of the region’s celebrated and nationally acclaimed art museums, Opera Saratoga presents “Saratoga Sings of Art and Inspiration.”

8:00am–3:00pm THIS TRIP HAS BEEN CANCELLED. Join us as we travel to Saratoga to explore sites connected to the Schuyler family. Registration required. Space is limited.

1:00pm–4:30pm The Albany Institute of History & Art library is a special-collections library with over one million items related to the art, history, and culture of the upper Hudson Valley from the seventeenth century to the present. Although library items do not circulate, researchers are welcome to study the collections in the library.
