12:00pm–5:00pm Join us at the Albany Institute of History & Art on Sunday, October 8th for a special free day at the museum, sponsored by a Humanities New York Vision/Action Grant!

2:00pm–3:00pm Join us for a lecture with Nancy Siegel as she discusses the life and career of Susie M. Bastow (1836-1923), a prolific artist and notable figure in the field of American landscape painting. Siegel will discuss Barstow’s life and work within the context of the Hudson River School using her extensive research into archival materials including letters, diaries, photographs, paintings and more.  

10:00am–5:00pm The museum galleries and shop will be open for visitors to enjoy on Monday, October 9, 2023, from 10 AM - 5 PM.
