Hudson Valley Hops 2018

Sorry, registration is currently closed.

Sorry, registration is currently full.

21 and over: Saturday, May 19 • 4:00pm - 7:00pm

This fun, regional craft beer tasting is a fundraiser for the Albany Institute of History & Art and it's an opportunity for the community to see brewing and distilling artifacts from the museum's collection, hear from industry experts, and receive a commemorative glass.

** Online ticketing for this event is now closed. Tickets are available at the door: $35 for AIHA Members, $40 for General Public.

The friendliest fundraiser of the year to benefit the Albany Institute of History & Art! Enjoy a regional craft beer tasting as well as an exhibition of local brewing history and a special program, Brewing Beer in a Melting Pot, about brewing history in Troy, New York.

Hudson Valley Hops 2018 will feature a one-time blind taste test featuring session beers from craft brewers in the Hudson Valley. Hosted by Steve Barnes of Times Union Table Hopping, with Jess Briganti, Weekday AM Weather Anchor for News10 ABC; Spectrum News/AlbanyArchives' Matt Malette; and Deanna Fox, local food writer as judges.

Hear from David Mulholland, whose family helped shape brewing history in Troy as Stoll's brewing, during a program called Brewing Beer in a Melting Pot. You'll also have the chance to help choose the 2018 People's Choice, and we'll have food from BMT Hospitality.

We're happy to announce that the following breweries are joining us this year (as of April 17):

  • Green Wolf Brewing Company
  • S & S Brewery
  • Rare Form Brewing
  • Brown's Brewing
  • Chatham Brewing
  • Fort Orange Brewing
  • Albany Pump Station
