New York Central Building

From $44.95

As railroads consolidated in the mid nineteenth century, the New York Central Railroad emerged as one of the premier rail lines servicing the Hudson River Valley.  This oil on poster board painting by Chesley Bonestell depicts an illuminated nighttime view of the  New York Central Building on Park Avenue in New York City.  Floyd Yewell's urban nightime painting Central Terminal Buffalo-New York is also in the collection of the Albany Institute's collection of New York Central paintings, posters, documents, ephemera and artifacts.
